Sunday's Devil Corner

Last night’s Devil victory over the Huskies will prove to be the turning point of the Devil season for a couple of reasons.
A.     Danny Sullivan is the QB…A pretty elementary statement I know, but think about what the repercussions could have been if Erickson didn’t have faith in the young QB and made the change for freshman QB Brock Osweiler.  We would be at “square one” entering a grueling stretch of Pac-10 opposition.  Include me with the million or so other Devil faithful that wished Erickson would get his head out of his ass and make the change, but I believe now making said move mid-October would of kinked the cohesiveness of the Devil offense, and the squad is better off with Sullivan.
B.     Wildcat fans were ready to anoint the Huskies the second coming of the 1990-1991 National Champion Huskies following the whole heartbreaking-shoe-standard definition replay fiasco up in Seattle the prior week.  Jake Locker was the best QB to face UA since John Elway, and just looking at the Husky schedule:
a) Lost to SEC powerhouse LSU by 8 points, you know they should have beat #1 Florida.
b) Lost to future Pac-10 Champs, and the undisputed, newly anointed (by Cat fans) greatest team (besides U of A) on the West Coast Stanford Cardinal.
c) Lost to the most underrated team in the country and a mid-west powerhouse filled with tradition Notre Dame.
d) Got a “champion’s ruling” on a play that was blatantly wrong to a University of Arizona football team.
                        e) Beat the greatest team of all-time hands down end of discussion USC Trojans...

Now Cat fans, you have dick!!
